Fashion Action

I am loving the weather today in Vancouver! Definitely gets me in the mood to get out of the house. Kimbotz and I are attending some upcoming fashion/art related events – getting uber excited! Why don’t you check them out too?

JK Models will be hosting their  launch party at Blushing Boutique on May 21st. There will be a silent auction with items donated by local designers, artists, and business owners. All proceeds and donations will go to the Looking Glass Foundation – helping build Canada’s first treatment centre for adolescents suffering from eating disorders. I love JK Models cause they promote models of all heights and weights. Click here for more info and to RSVP.

Jason Matlo will be having a sale on May 21st with up to 80% off previous collections and 20% off Spring 09 collection. There will be champagne and some great deals! Click here for more info and to RSVP.

The Sweatshirt Show on May 30th seems super interesting. Marjolyn from is hosting this event which showcases artists using a Sweartshirt as their canvas. The artists are from various backgrounds: graffiti, paint, digital, etc. They would show off their talents through a sweatshirt! Click here for more info and tickets.

Ai Nagasawa, a professional make up artist and hair designer (love her work at the boudoir sessions with Ellen Ho) is having a make up seminar/workshop at Wink Beauty Lounge, May 31st.  It will include basic skin essentials, day makeup application, health and hygiene, decluttering your make up bag, and more! There are also cute bonuses for taking the lessons. Click here for more info.

On June 5th, it will be a Girls’ Night Out – an exclusive night of shopping at Ishara at Oakridge Centre. Hosted by aka where I used to work and I love them, this night will certainly be memorable. Other than the one night only discounts – 20% off regular priced clothing and 10% off denim, there will be Ishara stylists, a photography wall, treats, and the hottest spring and summer trends 😉  But you have to RSVP to enjoy the discount so go to TheStyleSpy website or click here for more info.

Now what to wear to all these events….
